Recipe from Fresh off the GridÂ
Ingredients:
(4 servings)
2 cans chickpeas
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1 cup roasted red peppers (in water)
4 cloves garlic
juice from 1 lemon
2 tsp salt
olive oil (for serving)
crackers (for consuming)
Home Prep:
Drain, rinse and peel chickpeas
Add sesame seeds to food processer and blitz until powdered
Add in the chickpeas, roasted red peppers, garlic, lemon juice, and salt the food processor
Dehydrate at 125F for 4-6 hours
Break up into 4 servings and crush as much as desired
Trail Instructions:
Add water until desired consistency is achieved
Add 25 mL olive oil per serving
Eat with crackers or whatever you want
